Volcano Bed and Breakfast
Our award-winning bed and breakfast is located in Volcano Village on the Big Island of Hawaii, two miles from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, and is a top destination for travelers.
Volcano Village, rising nearly 4,000ft above sea level, offers travelers a chance to experience a native Hawaiian rain forest, active volcanic eruptions, and cooler climates. The village has a thriving artist community, little nightlife, and a few restaurants.
Our rainforest retreat is ideally situated for travelers looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation. There are a few small convenience stores that close early, and a local farmers market on Sunday. Learn more about the area in our Hawaii travel guide.

Visiting the Volcano Village Area
While the biggest attraction to the area is certainly Volcanoes National Park there are also many other reasons to visit this area of the big island. The rain forest makes this a very unique area. We suggest wine tasting at the Volcano Winery, a trip to Rainbow Falls a 80” tall waterfall, explore the Kaumana Caves or a hike on Mauna Kea.

When visiting the area it is best to prepare for many climates. The coast can be hot, dry, and offer little to no shade. Meanwhile, near the summit of Kilauea, one can expect cooler temperatures and rain. We highly recommend our guests to bring layers. This includes bringing warmer clothes, such as, pants and a light jacket or fleece.
