Housekeepers – Part-time

Volcano Village Lodge & Volcano Village Estates
Approx. 20 hours per week, must be available on weekends.

We are always seeking adaptable housekeepers to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of various rooms and managing laundry tasks.

We encourage you to apply if you are passionate about cleaning and organization, have reliable transportation, and have prior experience in a cleaning role.

Innkeeper/s

Approx. 30-40 hours per week, must be available on weekends.

We have three properties in Volcano, and the assistant innkeeper may be assigned to either of the two B&Bs, depending on the needs. For the most part, you will work at just one of the properties.

The team comprises the head innkeeper, other part-time assistant innkeepers, and part-time housekeepers. Experience with making simple breakfasts, managing a front desk, answering the phone, working on the computer, concierge services, answering email, and managing reservations is a must. Must have previous experience in a similar front facing customer role for at least two years. Familiarity with the Volcano/Hilo area, restaurants, activities, etc., would be nice.

Availability to work days, weekends, and holidays.
Physical activity is required.

Part-time & full time positions
Hourly or salary based on experience.
Employee family lodging discount.
Day shift. Weekend and weekdays.
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).

Experience:

Hospitality/Customer Service: 2 years (Required).
Work Location: In person.
