What Are Rainbows?

Hawaii is known as THE Aloha State. However, many visitors love our license plates… Why? Because of the rainbows. Since it rains almost every day in Hawaii, we get rainbows multiple times a DAY. The rain mixed with the sunshine creates beautiful kodak moments. As a matter of fact one of our college teams is called the Bows. As a kid I can remember after spring showers seeing rainbows and wondering what makes a rainbow? How come you can never find the end of it? Well this fun PBS video breaks it down for just about anyone who has ever wonder what is a rainbow! So on your next trip to the islands keep an eye out for rainbows; you may even get to see a double rainbow!
