At Volcano Village Lodge and 5th Street Ohana, we strive to provide exceptional service to our guests and valued Hawaii travel agents. We understand the importance of building strong relationships with travel agents, so we offer attractive benefits for their clients and commission options for the agents themselves.
Special Offer for Hawaii Travel Agents
Travel agents can choose two exclusive options when booking their clients at Volcano Village Lodge or at 5th Street Ohana. They can offer their guests a 10% discount or receive a commission on the bookings.
10% Discount for Guests
To offer your guests a 10% discount, you can use the promotional code TravelAgent when booking online. You must supply your IATA number to confirm your eligibility for the discounted rate.
You can add your IATA number to the notes when making the booking. Applying this code will automatically apply the discount to our Best Available rate at the time of booking. This discount cannot be combined with any other promotions or discounts.
Commission Payments
If you prefer to receive commission payments, we are also happy to offer that option to our Hawaii Travel Agents. When booking, in the notes section, add your IATA number, name, company name, email address, and phone number.
After the guest has completed their reservation, you need to send an invoice requesting the commission payment for the nightly stay (minus taxes) to the attention of John Wade, via postal mail to Volcano Village Lodge, PO Box 389, Volcano, HI 96785, or via email to [email protected]. Please add the booking ID of the reservations, along with where to send the check payment. We do not automatically send out commission payments. You must send an invoice.
Our team will then process the commission payment promptly. If, for any reason, you have not heard back from us within 3 weeks, please get in touch with us to follow up on your payment. All payments are made by check in US dollars and sent via the United States Postal Service from Hawaii, so payments sent to non-USA addresses or the mainland may take longer to arrive.
Deposits and Cancellations
All travel agent bookings are subject to our standard cancellation and deposit policies, as shown on our website. A non-refundable one-night deposit is due when booking to confirm the reservation. The remaining balance will be billed to the card on file 7 days before the stay. If you wish us to bill a different card for the balance than that which was used for the deposit, then you can get in touch with us by phone during our business hours, and we can add or update the credit card on file for the final payment. Be aware that commissions are NOT paid on canceled bookings or non-refundable deposits and payments.
Special Packages for Group Bookings
For travel agents booking larger groups or special events, we encourage you to contact our Head Innkeeper via email who will happily work closely with you to create a tailored package that meets your client’s specific requirements and preferences. This could include arranging a wine and cheese reception upon their arrival, picnic lunches for the group, or on-site massages. Note that we do not pay commission on upsells, only the room rate.
